11 days Kailash Manasarovar Lake:

The holy sacred spiritual mountain Khang Rimpoche as local Tibetan words, Kailash as Hindu religion, which is 6,714m. high above sea level, situated in west Tibet. As local Buddhist religions believe, the eastern face of Kailash is Crystal, the western ruby, Northern gold and the Southern face is Sapphire. Which is the Holy Mountain for Buddhist, Hindu, Bon and Jain religions. 

The rocky path around Kailash is a 52 km. During the trip, the most difficult part is Dolma la pass 5,630m. because of high elevation and dry thin air. Local pilgrims walk around the Kailash rocky path in a single day, about a 14-hour journey. But you can do it slowly in three days to complete the journey around Kailash. During the Kailash trip, people may get high altitude sickness. If someone is difficult to walk, they can ride a yak or a pony to complete the journey. 

Manasarover is a Holy Lake at Kailash region. As Hindu Sanskrit word ‘Manas’ means mind and ‘Sarovar’ means lake. The local Tibetan is called Tso Ma-pham. The sacred Holy Lake situated 4,590m. path around the lake 88km. 90 meter deep. Once there were eight Buddhist monasteries around the lake, symbolizing the wheel of life. Many monasteries has been disappeared, still you can visit Gotsuk, Seralung, Trugo and Chiu Gompa (monasteries) around the lake. A small spring flows from Mansarovar to Rakshas Tal which is called Gang Ga. At the same place there is a natural hot spring, you have to pay a certain amount for a hot shower or bath. 

This pilgrimage tours, especially focus for Buddhist religious people from all over the world. For this pilgrimage each year thousands of people coming from all over the world, especially from Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Russia, Sri Lanka, Burma India and China. This will be starting from Kathmandu drive from Kerung, Nepal-Tibet border to Tibet. During the 11 days period, you can make one circuit of Holy Mt. Kailash, Manasarover lake and back to Kathmandu as itinerary.

The age doesn’t make any difference for this trek, between 17 to 70 years, anyone can do this trip if you are physically fit and healthy. If someone is seriously injured or sickness from high altitude, the only option is to be rescued by a jeep. The rescue is quite expensive, everyone needs to buy travel insurance from their own country, if not available, we can help you. You can buy such insurance policy at Kathmandu too.
